Why should I hire a
professional stager?

A professional stager will look at your
home through the eyes of a prospective
buyer. A stager knows how best to arrange
furnishings to provide optimal
space, organize
closets, and
add the finishing touches that will
set your home apart from the rest.

Is staging expensive?

Ultimately, staging is not an expense. It is
an investment with an outstanding payback. Statistics show that the average non-staged home will be on the market for approximately 171.2 days, compared to the staged home at 33.6 days. According to a survey of over 2000 real estate agents by HomeGain. com, the average return on investment for home staging was approximately 300%.*

 How long will the
process take?

The first step is the Staging
Assessment, which takes 1 to 2 hours,
depending on the size of the home.
The actual staging time varies greatly,
depending on the amount of work to be
done. The work can be as
simple as painting
a room or two and
rearranging the
furniture, or as
involved as renovating
an entire kitchen.

Can I do the work myself?

Absolutely! Once the staging
assessment has been completed, you
will be provided with a detailed list of the stager’s recommendations. At that point,
you have the option to complete the work
yourself or Chateau’s licensed, insured
contractors will alleviate the headache for
you.

Can a stager help with my
home’s curb appeal?

Chateau will look at every aspect of
your home, including improvements to the
exterior. This home was transformed by
adding a breezeway and attached garage,
trimming out windows and porch rail to
match siding, and finishing it off with
some colorful landscaping..
